DOROTHY ZERIO is director and owner of Dance Inc. She received her ballet training at the Memphis Ballet School in TN where the emphasis of teaching was on the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus. While obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Professional Studies at Memphis State, she danced professionally with the Memphis Ballet. Her scholarships took her to Banff School of Fine Arts in Canada and to the Hartford Ballet School. Studies and performing eventually turned into an interest in teaching. She attended the RAD in London, England and the Hartford Ballet teaching program with focus on the Vaganova Syllabus. While owning Dance Inc for twenty eight years, she has established herself in NYC among great teachers such as Finis Jhung and invested in a pre-school dance program entitled "Leap n Learn." Dorothy Zerio is an ABT NTC Fellow who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum and has successfully presented students for examinations.

Gennaro is a professional dancer from Naples, Italy, trained in all styles and disciplines of dance. He is currently one of the most appreciated dancers in Naples and his fame makes him one of the most wanted guest dancers for events and dance productions. He is very excited to continue his career in the US and be inspired by art in America. Currently, he is a member of Ballet Theatre Arts Company in West Hartford. We are thrilled that he will be part of our weekly curriculum in the upcoming year.

- Rose has been a resident in NYC for the past 16 years, as a professional singer/dancer and has been a lead singer for a cover band the past 8 years. She attended classical ballet training at the Hartford Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, Broadway Dance Center and Steps... to name a few. She has been teaching dance for the past 13 years at several locations and started " DanceZNyc" dance school in 2018. Her mission is to give children and young adults the opportunity to discover their love for dance the same way she did !

Maria is a dancer and gymnast who holds a B.A. in Psychology, Masters in Reading Education and Conneticut Elementary Teaching Certificate. She is certified through USA Gymnastics and holds her CPR and First Aid Certifications. She was a competitive gymnast and was trained by 2004 Olympic coach Alan Hatch and 2004 two-time Olympic silver medalist Annia Hatch. Maria continues her dance education at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC where she is a member with the NY based dance coompany Jamie J and Co. She travels internationally to teach acro/tumbling and hip hop. She recently performed at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and in an ad for Rocawear clothing. She is on the teaching staff at Sacred Heart University to be an adjunct professor in their dance department. Maria is certified in Acrobatic Arts, bodyArt, Adult and Pediatric first Aid, CPR and AED, Acro Certication Levels 1-6, USA Gymnastics Safety Csertification-Artistic Gymnastics Coach, State of CT Coaching Certification.

Alexa has been dancing at Dance Inc. since she was 4 years old. Ballet, lyrical and hip hop were part of her training at Dance Inc., along with many attended classes in NYC. Along the way she consistently helped with children classes helping her become the teacher she is today. She stands out in her natural choreographic skills proven by YouTube where one of her dances hit 1.6 million views. Her compassion for dance, many years of teaching, and dedication to her students has influenced many children not only to love dance but to be the best they can be.
